The GEAS researcher Josefina Pérez-Arantegui has contributed two activities to the Exhibition “ With the eyes of Science “, from September 24 to September 1 October 2021, included in the events of the Researchers’ Night ( European Researchers´ Night ) organized by the University of Zaragoza.
The exhibition “ With the eyes of Science ” was installed on the Gran Vía de Zaragoza, next to the Paraninfo Building of the University of Zaragoza. Through six images – the Flower Offering, the Aljafería, the vaccines, the tram, the Panticosa massif and La Maja Naked – the exhibition transmitted to society how the perspective of things changes when they are analyzed with the eyes of science . Professor Josefina Pérez-Arantegui (GEAS) has participated in the activities of “ La Maja Desnuda ” by Goya and in “ El Tranvía “.
In this second edition, the exhibition has had the participation of more than twenty specialists from the Aragonese public campus, and has been promoted by the Scientific Culture Unit of the University of Zaragoza . The development of the proposal has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the General Directorate of Culture of the Zaragoza City Council and the co-financing of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) of the Ministry of Science and Innovation and the Government of Aragon .
