In May 2019, the proposal presented by the ANTIB-PLAST Consortium was approved in the Call aCCeSS Cooperation and Transfer Public-Private Consortia of the EU «Frontier innovations to solve two emerging agrofood problems in the aCCeSS territory: new nanobactericides against the antimicrobial resistance and characterization of nano and microplastics in waters and food chain products ».

The ANTIB-PLAST consortium training request was submitted in April 2019, to the aCCeSS Interreg program of the EU, with the coordination of Prof. Juan R Castillo of the GEAS group and with researchers from the Public University of Navarra, University of La Rioja , University of Navarra, University of Lleida, IPREM-CNRS-University of Pau, and the companies Lab.Enosan SL, Abac Therapeutics, and NILSA SA.
